There's real freedom in accepting a diagnosis that is because it opens you up to be able to take appropriate steps to managing it. When we work with adults with ADHD or parents who themselves have ADHD which is true in about 25 to 35 percent minimum of the families that we see, first thing we want them to do is own it.
