The Representativeness Heuristic

The representativeness heuristic is really rolls off the tongue, but it's this idea that you have in your head of an 80 something year old guy. Your brain instantly starts building up an image of who this patient is based off your past experience. You start to make assumptions subconsciously whenever you put somebody in a bucket. This is what we were seeing was happening at age 18, right? We see this 18 year olds and adults, and I need to think of them this way.
