The power of technobabble is that it illustrates the illusion of knowledge. Our actual understanding of how the world around us works is rather shallow. If I were to ask you to build a bicycle from scratch, could you do that? What about differential gears or a carburetor or the crab cycle, or I don't know, just about everything in life?
