The most important part of resilience is actually what we get as we go through the ups and downs in each present moment situation that arises. You need to be able to trust the other person and know that they have your best interests at heart. Having compassion and empathic perspective taking, the ability to self-regulate are all parts of resilience that I think are important for us to strive for.
