How to Deal With Resistance to Change

The first statement I want to make to anyone who's going to change is that it's not going to be comfortable. There's value in teaching ourselves how to experience a bit of discomfort and how to do it safely. So, set yourself up to succeed by not piling on four, five, six new things starting tomorrow. Set one small daily promise and practice keeping it as uncomfortable as it'll be as those thoughts will come as you might be reconnecting with your body.
