The Pain of Parent-Child Relationships
There's so much I think when we're talking about parent-child relationship family relationships there's so much history there that it's so difficult. Parents seem to in my experience lately want to have equal relationships with their adult child almost like where the slate was wiped clean when they turned 18 and that's not ever going to happen. Most of the adults I talk to literally all they want to hear is I'm sorry that happened I shouldn't have done that but I'm trying to be better now some version of that would fix so many problems, she says.
