MMA Training Camps - What Are the Biggest Surprises?
MMA fighters start off very average fitness relatively weak. After seven to eight weeks of focused training ready for competition, absolutely nothing changes. So even though the training camp is apparently designed to make them stronger if it's a faster, more powerful, it doesn't seem to do any of those things. The data really support the changes to the way MMA athletes train within their technical tactical sessions with structured general conditioning that really needs to grow into the sport.
