A study was done where you would have mice with mothers that were kept in identical settings. Then if you looked at their offspring their DNA, the high fat diet relative to the normal diet mice they would have much more of those methyl groups on their measured on their histones. Those offspring had a measurable early onset diabetes relative to themYeah so i mean it that's where you can start to see and this is relatively young paper and the field is relatively young but those are the kinds of things where epigenetics almost are what makes habits long lasting yeah.
