Working Memory Is Very High on Arguation Functions
There's some people that say we're one of the only species with this level of consciousness and communication. Maybe the other species have wise. So these two kinds of parts of the cortex are important because that medial, older part is shared by all mammals. If you direct work the lateral prefrontal cortex attention, working memory, to that state, you can be aware of it. But ordinarily it doesn't get in the way. It's just kind of there.
