How Long Does It Take to Become a Navy Seal?

10-year-old Zachary asks how long it took to become a Navy Seal and what you have to do to qualify. It takes about a year and a half maybe two years depending on how quickly you get through the training. You've got to be able to run four miles in soft sand with boots on and the maximum time for that is 28 minutes. One of the swims is 5.5 nautical miles, which is a little over six regular miles.
