How Can Feedback Be an Important Piece of Retrieval Practice?

Students forget, and they forget very quickl ah, so instead of just moving on or reviewing, is going back to that idea of how can i take review that i do as a teacher and turn it into a retrieval opgot it. So an example we like to give is a remembering or thinking about, what is the capital of australia? And part of that isn't just so students know if they got their answer correct or incorrect, but it a just student's meta cognition - think about their own thinking.
