When you're feeling these things that you don't like, a lot of us tend to go to I suck at this. That same part of the brain is one of the places that starts to deactivate when we start to get into flow. What happens there is our skills are allowed to emerge kind of unfiltered by the frontal lobes. Positive self-talk can work for some people sometimes but there are other tools that you can use too.
