The Relationship Between Diet and Mental Health
In Australia, fewer than 5% of people consume a diet that's in line with the dietary guidelines. Less than 1% of children have the recommended number of vegetables and legumes per day. People who are depressed seem to be more likely to put on body weight,. possibly to do with the stress hormones. And then people who are living with obesity seem to be at greater risk for depression.
