The ability to be helpful with different types of people is also a virtue and a talent in itself. The less they knew about what other people knew, like the less they knew the technical side, or the more they knew how to partner with people internally to get things done. So many things that the AE can be, if they're listening and if they're open, so many people can help them. And this isn't just the SE, this is their manager, these are their peers.
