How Did You Become a Lawyer?
When you're a criminal defense lawyer, "you are nobody's" favorite person. And so when he had a particularly tough trial and the judge kept us late while we were waiting for this verdict, which should have been probably guilty in five minutes, but it was guilty in like seven hours. That's when really made the decision to try to figure out what to do next. Being in the business of law was what opened my eyes to the problems that lawyers that are every lawyer unless you're an employee, you are a business owner.
