Is Every Race Need to Be a P R?

The idea that every race needs to be a p r to validity to your training, or validity to the athlete is seductive. But i think it ends up set cratig more, higher fragility, right? And less flexibility in the athlete. By working it out, you give them a different look at a different moment in the race setting and hopefully build this fluency about how to execute a race. That's why we divide our races into four segments - so we can specificly talk about what segment they need to upgrade.
