In sprinting or all kinds of agility drills movements, obviously the legs are very active. So it's really important that the pelvis, that pelvis, pelvis control is really crucial in running movements. The trunk muscles provide that stability for the pelvis. But also in throwing, the abdominals are really important in energy transfer in a elastic way from proximal and big mass of body to the shoulder.
