Major Depressive Disorder

Is there a difference between that type ofa depression compared to someone who is actually genetically like, someone who is born with a genetic mutation they that may lead to depression? Yes. We determine the heritability of the disease by two types of studies: adoption studies and twin studies. And if something has strong heritability, you would expect the twin, the mono cygotic, the identical twin, to have a much higher prevalence of the disease. So it's not like some other condition, such as honington disease or systic vibrosis, then you will have major depressive disorder.
