AI Ruining Higher Education

In Singapore, American English and Taiwanese Mandarin are prestige dialects. We kind of get double respect after people overcome the shock of hearing two accents that they don't usually encounter in combination. And it's just a cultural combination that people don't encounter very much. Just go to the UK and speak in American English and it is not a prestige accent.
