In an experiment, college students were asked two questions. How happy are you and how often are you dating? When the two questions were asked in this order, the correlation between the two questions was non-existent. But when the question order was reversed, so the dating question was asked first, the correlation was much higher. "I don't actually need the reflective part of my brain," she says.
