The Uncertainty of the World

John: I'm sort of living like a Georgian romantic poet who has those sort of two-hour waking moments in the night. Well, when I read about the way Georgian romantic poets lived, I found that tremendously comforting because they would often wake up at three and they would smoke a pipe for two hours and then go back to bed.
