The Effects of Rest on Performance

The failure they're experiencing is real, but it's not necessarily indicative of all the fibers reaching a point of failure. So that said, I don't think these are power lifters or anything like that. And we have a good amount of data that suggests the higher reps you do and the more basically fatigue you're experiencing drives up discomfort.
