The Importance of Hook Models in Addiction

I think there's both good and bad things happening here. People can use a Hook model to facilitate addictions. But even outside of addictions in the content industry, for example, we see a lot of people taking advantage of our understanding of triggers. If you read enough stupid clickbait headlines from BuzzFeed or whatever, guess what? You stop reading it. I mean, if Facebook is getting on your nerves because you keep checking it, you know what most people do? They moderate their behaviors. Whenever there's a technological shift, there's always bad that come with the goods.
