A lot of my work is to realize that human consciousness only occurs because we are the most biodiverse ecosystem interacting with a single neurology. We can touch more species of bacteria, fungi, yeast, protozoa than any other species has ever touched with our neurology. And so this concept of human intelligence is starting to evaporate into the microbiome and nature itself being the source of intelligence.
