The Opposite of Regret, or Nastalgia

The opposite of regret, which is nastalgia. You remember good things that happened. The older persons tends to focus on regret, but it doesn't have to. Nastalgia is also a story line. There's no person whose life was totally and completely unbearably bad. In this basicly means using nastalgia as a way to review your life in a positive light. With all the ups and downs, with all the joys and sorrows, you can look at the life that you've lived and say, i did pretty well. It was a pretty good life, and i can remember so many good things.
