In addition to an opinion regarding what's going to happen, people should have a view on the likelihood that their opinion will prove correct. Some events can be predicted with substantial confidence; some are uncertain. The future is a distribution of possibilities and if we're y smart, we know what the distribution,. what the possibilities are, and we may have an idea of which are more likely and less likely - but we still don't know what's gonna happen. And i think we have to behave that way. We shouldn't get confused. But the most important single thing is to not have the same degree of conviction about all opinions.
