The Longer Intervals, the Longer Training Group, the Greater Aerobic Gains
The group that did the longer intervals saw much greater gains in the beep test results. About half saw improvement, a whole bunch didn't see improvement and two actually performed worse. The other thing I found interesting out of this is when you look at the people doing the long interval work and the impact on that anaerobic side. So the anaerobic test, they did see improvements, just not as much improvement, but they saw fairly consistent improvement.
