For the long endurance athlete, I like to do that on hills, not only with pure, you know, short hill sprints. And then if we look at speed endurance for the longer stuff, what I tend to look at it is non-specific extension of that intensity. For 10K and up runners, a lot of work about creating a situation where clearance can be manifested but very tolerable.
