The Different Types of Medication for ADHD
Dr. Parcel: SSRI's are our first line for really both of them. Oftentimes the anxiety piece actually needs higher doses than the depression piece. Guanphazine is a different kind of medicine, it's called an alpha adrenergic agonist. It's one of the non stimulant medications that we use for the treatment of ADHD and often in combination with a stimulant.
