The Importance of Sharing Your Story
I was trying to think back of how I crossed paths with you. And it was years ago during the pandemic, and we were talking about kid mental health. At the time I just knew you had been a high school principal. It wasn't until I was following you on Instagram closely that I realized that you were also in recovery. You don't really fit the mold of when somebody thinks of somebody who has struggled with alcohol for years. But that's what it is. As a therapist, I see people from all walks of life and they're friends and family.
