I like the question because people, you know, what look at what I've done or my students and it's like, oh man, it's just all meant like this. But no, there's been so many twists and turns. Probably the biggest mistake. I did a startup in 2003 that was about asynchronous voice messaging,. We prototyped in, we milk software and it worked great. And then it turns out we were too early from a technology perspective; computers didn't have microphones yet. That led to me being very tuned into what Facebook was doing when they launched their platform.
