The Importance of Rationalism in Nutrition
Trexler: I lean more toward being an empiricist, not purely. There's always, you can always rationalize your way to the bullshit. One of my favorite examples of how that can work out is the British medical journal from time to time or maybe every year. They have like some joke articles in them. But anyway, so for an extreme example of how far you can get with rationalism, they had an article one year about how smoking cigarettes is great for endurance athletes.
