Going slow in control not only makes it safer, but it reduces momentum. It prevents sort of unloading or off loading the resistance from the muscles. The tension level on the muscle is is higher with slower movements. And then lastly, e the efficiency standpoint on. When you do all the things that i've just described, alluded to it, it becomes more effective at stimulating the changes.
