How to Manage Emergency Tasks Effectively

Once a week, ideally at the end of the week or at the beginning of the week, I try not to use mornings. Give yourself a block every day when you can jump into whatever emergency pops up. Leave some blank spots here and there for those emergencies. Allow yourself a little bit of that every now and then. And what we find is that the end, they do tell me there are fewer and fewer emergencies.
