How to Run a Sub-2-Hour Marathon?

Nike's Breaking 2 project started out as just a theory that we could run a sub-2-hour marathon. The researchers at Nike and I had a podcast with their research lead several weeks ago about how all of these things could come together to make it happen. What were the major I mean I can't even say major because it was just a lot of little things but what were some of the things that went into this? We focused on sort of the fundamental biomechanical understanding of running which means you have to support your body weight over a short period of time when your food is on the ground.
