The Importance of Carbohydrate in Training

The first half of our cycle is a lot more balanced and we tend to be able to use a lot more fat for fuel. The mid follicular phase is really critical in getting the kind of training, the nutrition rights around your training. Some women will find that actually the first two or three days of their cycle is when they feel like they're worst - but other women might find that's a good time to train. So I think tracking your cycle is really important.
