Buddhism says that everything's impermanent. Nothing is satisfactory or reliable And that it's all very unpersonal That there is not a personal self that this is happening to. The more we meditate and this is where I feel like it's a bit more practical And that we have these conversations. We study the Dharma. More we can start to see oh, it's not that personal. This is the human condition This is what it's like to be a person Joy and sorrow pleasure and pain gain and loss are just part of having a nervous system unpleasantness. When we take it all personal and try to control and manipulate and cling trying to create a Refuge from impermanence
