The Extraction Efficiency of Dry Hopping

A lot of breweries are just dumping that hop and yeast material, the troop that's down at the bottom of the fermenter. Two thirds or so of the alpha acids are being left behind in that material. That most people are discharging with other waste materials like farmers to apply to fields. Some people will just throw it away. So there's definitely a lot that you can do with it that isn't necessarily being done.
