The Evolution of the Universe

Poverty is just the natural condition of the universe. The question that we should ask is, why is there wealth? That was a major obsession of a number of enlightenment thinkers. We use information to carve out zones of beneficial order in this massive sea of increasing entropy. And then humanism is the third major thing: what are we using reason and science in service of? And the answer is broadly human flourishing.
