i think variety, just in general, is a very important aspect of speaking. Intonation, the up and down of speaking, is really important. It's also crucial to be sensitive to cultural differences. In scandinavia, they have much restricted prosidy or intonation compared to lain countries. We tend to like voices that we would describe in the way we would describe a hot chocolate - rich, dark, warm, sweet, smooth. So i've done my breathing exercises heading on to the disipocast. What else would i need to em do to be heard rom by the listener?
