How to Properly Fuel for a Long Distance Event

My assumption was, because I'm not having GI issues, that my nutrition was pretty on form when in hindsight looking back. It probably wasn't as optimum as it could be. Not fully understanding the concepts of fueling, and how to correctly fuel for a race as well. Even though I'd done quite a number or quite experienced, it was still an area that I definitely had not got down that and worked on well. And then we started working on the good training as well for the longer rooms and more aligned to a longer distance event.
