The 1918 Spanish flu wiped out so many people. Right after that moment, penicillin was discovered. We lost the ability to believe in our own cellular health because then the Rockefeller's invested in pharmaceuticals and they invested in medical schools. All of a sudden, all the doctors learned mechanistic, they didn't learn vitalistic. And I think where we are today coming out of COVID is we're at a really interesting point where we can come back to understanding vitalism.
