The Effects of Visual Scanning on Stress
Highly sensitive people have better visual scanning ability and discrimination. We are more able to perform higher on visual scanning tests, but we have a higher perceived stress. 80% of stimulation comes in through the eyes; it can be really overstimulating to always have your eyes open out in the world.
