The Poem and the Tattoo
I was having my leg tattooed a few years ago when this man walked in and he he come in he said I'm coming for a cover up because I've got this really old tattoo on my arm. things getting and it goes back to the idea of the cover up. He's like why don't you leave it and have a new one that sits next to it and tells another story maybe what you want to tell now but what kind of goes there. Maybe that's what we do when we write new poems yeah kind of just putting them next we're not covering the old one we're just sort of I'll keep over itYeah look at this arm there's more I could say
