Gabe is the EVP of Retail Operations, and Nicole is the Senior Product Manager at 4Front. The couple met when Nicole was a budtender and sold Gabe his first legal eighth of cannabis. Just a few months later, a first date turned into years together, and their apartment became a shared office. Gabe is responsible for shepherding retail projects into and through application/acquisition, construction, compliance, and revenue generation. Further responsibilities include daily oversight of over 300 employees and $90,000,000 in annual revenue. ​​In addition to his operational experience, Gabe is the co-creator of the non-profit, Chicago NORML, which was founded in 2017 with the goal of educating and motivating communities of color to destigmatize and accept the cannabis plant as a vehicle for wellness, and empowerment. Nicole Mendoza, Senior Product Manager, 4Front Ventures / Mission Dispensaries Nicole entered the cannabis industry in 2015 by way of Los Angeles. She manages new product development and launches across four of the largest cannabis markets (MA, IL, CA & WA) in the U.S. In the last two years she has driven the launch of 500 new SKUs across 18 of 4Front’s core brands. Amongst her collaborators Nicole is known for being an agile, trendsetting and passionate problem solver. Motivated by social impact, Nicole believes that the cannabis industry is an entryway into a healthier and more equitable future for all.
