Investing in a Problem Area for the Next 15, 20 Years
Hirsch: I think initially it was about an interesting idea and a decent team. As founders, we're always hopelessly optimistic about anything and everything in the world. We're not tuned to do a lot of diligence on data, market, competitors, etc. Hirsch: What ends up being super important is the committed founding team which is willing to work in that problem area for at least 10, 15, 20 years.
