What Is Your Best Definition of Ympathy?
Natali: "Not enough people taking on any kind of cause beyond themselves. That's the opposite of what atticus is saying with respect to ympathy" She says her definition, and the definition that tony and i used in the book, is the ability to sit in the seat of some one else, see the world through their eyes, and then take action from their point of view. For me, ampathy mean sitting on the seat of that other person and really listening and understanding and acting from that place.
