What's Happening With Psychoanalysis?
Aphropessimism leans so much on psychoanalysis, why does it lose any connection to the clinical setting? What social science describes the complex environment is not completely analogous to how the individual organism responds. In psychoanalysis also seems to be saying that there is a conservative tendency in the organism to a resist, or protect itself from the immense complexity environment it finds itself in. If that is true, then the organism can't be an explanation for the environen because that's the very thing its trying to protect itself from.
