The Battle of Castile
John Talbot was the last great soldier left from Henry V and his brother John, the Duke of Bedford. He had come to France one last time to recover a seemingly hopeless situation. By the end of the day more than 4,000 English soldiers were dead, wounded or captured. Bordeaux fell several months later, leaving the port of Calais as the last tiny island of English territory in France.
