The Dog Aging Project
The dog aging project is a large, what we call longitudinal study of aging in pet dogs. We're just following the dogs over time trying to understand what are the most important genetic and environmental factors that influence health outcomes during aging in dogs. Half get rapamycin, half get placebo. So one-year treatment period, two-year follow-up. Lifespan is the primary endpoint. But as I mentioned, we are obviously very interested in health span metrics. And secondary endpoints include heart function by echocardiogram,. activity, kidney disease incidence, things like that.
